On September 26, 2025, we will enable a mechanism limiting the number of devices used per premium account. This change will affect 5% of our users and is aimed at balancing costs. Each device creates a server load. Some users use a single premium subscription on 10 or even 100 devices, but pay the same as those using the premium version on 1-2 devices.
More details about the limitations:
- The new version of the app already includes different subscription plans for use on multiple devices.
- The basic subscription, which is currently valid for 5 devices for everyone who has purchased it, is currently valid for 5 devices. If you use the app on fewer devices, you don't need to do anything.
- If you plan to continue using the app on more devices, you must upgrade your subscription to the appropriate plan: up to 5 devices (basic), up to 10 devices, or up to 50 devices. Alternatively, you can transfer some devices to new internal app accounts to ensure stable operation.
- Important! It's not possible to upgrade your subscription to the desired plan; it's technically very difficult with the various payment options available in the app. If you need to cancel your subscription to purchase a plan for more devices, please contact us via "Contact the developer" in the app menu.
How the restrictions work:
For example, if you purchased a basic subscription for 5 devices and are using this premium version on 8 devices, the 3 oldest devices authorized by this account will lose access to the premium version and server access. When you log in to a new device beyond the limit, the oldest authorized device will also lose access, and the new device will gain it (the Queue principle).
Also, in the new version, you can see how many devices are currently linked to your account to manage this queue.
We understand that this change may be disappointing to some, but it is a necessary step to ensure the app continues to function, a step that has been long delayed but necessary.
